Lincoln Center Theater has announced casting for its world premiere production of Luce, which marks the playwriting debut of recent Juilliard graduate JC Lee.

May Adrales (The Dance and the Railroad) will direct a cast that features Marin Hinkle (Electra, Two and a Half Men), Neal Huff (Take Me Out, The Wire), Olivia Oguma (High School Musical), Okieriete Onaodowan (Cyrano de Bergerac), and Sharon Washington (The Scottsboro Boys). Onaodowan takes on the title role of Luce, an all-star high school student whose teacher uncovers some troubling information about him. As a result, his parents (played by Hinkle and Huff) must alter their idealized perception of their son, whom they adopted from a war-torn African country years ago.

Luce features a creative team that includes sets by Timothy R. Mackabee, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Tyler Micoleau, and sound by Jill BC Du Boff.

Performances will run from October 5-November 17, with an official opening set for October 21.
