The production plans to revive the Cotton Club‘s tradition of featuring weekly guest stars, and will present a series of notable artists in limited-engagement appearances throughout its run. The musical features Ellington’s original arrangements, performed by a 17-piece big band that has been hand-selected by living jazz legend Wynton Marsalis.
