Kids Night on Broadway Set for January 31 and February 1

Kids Night on Broadway, the annual event in which young people ages 6-18 can attend a Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult, will take place on January 31 and February 1.


The shows participating in this year’s event are Altar Boyz, Avenue Q, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, Rent, Sweet Charity, The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Chita Rivera: A Dancer’s Life, Rabbit Hole, Souvenir, Sweeney Todd, The Color Purple, Stomp! and The Woman in White. Tickets must be purchased between October 28 and November 13.

In conjunctino with the event, Madame Tussaud’s will host a special pre-theater bash on Tuesday, January 31 at 3pm, with special exhibits at the wax museum, theatrical makeup stations, Broadway dance lessons, karaoke with a live deejay, and more. Cast and crew members of participating shows will take part in demonstrations of what happens behind the scenes in their productions, and will sign autographs.
