Albee, Irwin, Vogel to Discuss Samuel Beckett at NYU

Playwrights Edward Albee, Bill Irwin, and Paula Vogel will participate in a panel discussion entitled Samuel Beckett’s Legacy in the U.S. at 6pm on Thursday, October 12 at NYU’s Skirball Center (566 LaGuardia Place). They will discuss the work of Beckett, whose plays include Endgame and Happy Days.

In related news, the Gate Theatre’s production of Beckett’s masterwork Waiting for Godot, which is touring the United States for two months, will play at the Skirball Center, October 24-28. The production stars Barry McGovern as Vladimir and Johnny Murphy as Estragon.
