Liza Minnelli to Play Mohegan Sun in December

Tony Award winner Liza Minnelli will play the Arena at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncas, Connecticut at 7pm on Sunday, December 10.

Minnelli’s other upcoming live appearances include a stint at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, October 12-14 and November 23-25, and the One World gala at City Center on Monday, October 23.

In addition, Minnelli is scheduled to appear on Tuesday, October 31 in an episode of the popular NBC-TV series Law & Order: Criminal Intent, in which she plays a former beauty queen whose daughter is murdered. She was seen last season on the Fox TV comedy series Arrested Development.

Minnelli won Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical for Flora the Red Menace and The Act, and won a special Tony Award in 1974. She was also nominated for The Rink and has starred on Broadway in Victor/Victoria and Chicago. She won the Academy Award for Cabaret and the Emmy Award for Liza With a “Z”, which was recently shown on Showtime and released on DVD.
