Purl, Ripley, Rue, Spirtas, Vilanch, et al. Set for L.A.’s Two’s Company

Linda Purl, Alice Ripley, Sara Rue, Kevin Spirtas, and Bruce Vilanch will be among the performers for Two’s Company — An All-Star Event Celebrating the Songs of Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, to take place at 7:30pm on Monday, November 5 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy.

The concert, to be produced and directed by Bruce Kimmel, will be hosted by Cindy Williams. It will feature songs by Menken and Schwartz from such shows and films as Wicked, Godspell, Pippin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Pocohantas.

The cast will also include Misty Cotton, Rita McKenzie, Michelle Nicastro, Julie Reiber, Emily Rozak, Alet Taylor, Andy Taylor, and Terry Trotter. The show will feature choreography by Adam Cates and musical direction by Richard Berent.
