Carrie Fisher‘s memoir Wishful Drinking will hit #7 on the New York Times Paperback Nonfiction Best Sellers List on Sunday, October 18.

The book is adapted from Fisher’s solo show, Wishful Drinking,
which is currently playing the Roundabout Theatre’s Studio 54. In the book and show, Fisher recounts many of the events in her turbulent life, including what it was like growing up as the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, starring as Princess Leia in the first Star Wars trilogy, and dealing with her manic-depression.

Fisher’s book already has 100,000 paperback copies in print after three printings.
