Kara DioGuardi to Lead Cast of Broadway’s Chicago in October 11 Benefit Performance

The Broadway company of Chicago, led by Kara DioGuardi, will give a special benefit performance at the Ambassador Theatre on Tuesday, October 11 at 8pm. A reception with the cast will follow at E&E Grill House.

Presented in conjunction with Givenik.com, the event will benefit four of DioGuardi’s favorite charities — 11Phoenix House, Columbus Citizens Foundation, Malaria No More, and Sister Domingas and Friends Foundation.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. In addition to DioGuardi, who plays Roxie Hart, the current cast also features Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tony Yazbeck as Billy Flynn, Chris Sullivan as Amos Hart, and Carol Woods as Matron “Mama” Morton.
