Lauren Molina, Alice Ripley, Stephen Sondheim, Jason Tam, Michael Urie at Marry Me A Little Opening

Keen Company celebrated the opening of its revival of Stephen Sondheim, Craig Lucas, and Norman Rene’s Marry Me A Little on Tuesday, October 2. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, with choreography by Dan Knechtges and musical direction by John Bell, the production runs at Theatre Row’s Harold Clurman Theatre through October 21.

Lauren Molina and Jason Tam star in the work, which utilizes cut and unknown songs from several of Sondheim’s famous musicals to tell Lucas and Rene’s story of two lonely strangers who pass the time one Saturday night by indulging in their secret fantasies, never knowing that they’re just one floor away from one another.

The creative team includes Steven Kemp (scenic design), Jennifer Paar (costume design), Josh Bradford (lighting design), and Ricola Willie (prop design).

Guests at the opening included Tom Judson, Alice Ripley, Wesley Taylor, and Michael Urie.
