Sam Buntrock to Direct Kara Manning’s Sleeping Rough

Tony Award nominee Sam Buntrock will direct Page 73’s world premiere of Sleeping Rough, by Kara Manning, to run April 3-17 at the Wild Project.
The cast and design team will be announced at a later date

In Sleeping Rough an American woman, unable to forgive her country for a grave offense, ignores the entreaties of her daughter and ex-husband and flees to London to graffiti her anguish across the city of her youth.

Manning is the winner of a 2007 Princess Grace Award. Her other plays include Mind the Gap, Killing Swans, Proposed Closure (Totalshambles), and afterdark.

Buntrock was nominated for an Olivier, Tony and Drama Desk Award for his direction of the revival of Sunday in the Park With George. His other credits include Are You There, McPhee?, Take Flight, Much Ado About Nothing, and Cradle and All.
