DuBois and Jones Win 2006 Callaway Awards

Peter DuBois and Bill T. Jones have won The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC) Joe A. Callaway Awards, which are presented annually in recognition of excellence in the crafts of directing and choreography in Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway productions. The winners were announced on Monday, November 20.

DuBois won the directing award for the Public Theater’s production of Measure for Pleasure; Jones won the choreography award for the Atlantic Theater Company’s production of Sprng Awakening, which is now on Broadway,

The Callaway Award committee consists of 13 SSDC director and choreographer members. Following is a full list of this year’s nominees:
