Stephen Bogardus, Sherry Boone, Sheldon Harnick, and Catherine Russell will be among the artists participating in Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?, a free multimedia tribute to the socially conscious songs of lyricist E.Y. “Yip” Harburg, to take place at 6:30pm on Monday, November 26 at the City University of New York Graduate Center (365 Fifth Avenue).

This special event is timed to the 75th anniversary of the song, “Brother, Can You Spare a Dime,” written by Harburg and Jay Gorney. It will be narrated by Deena Harburg, the founding chair of NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, and feature the participation of Harburg’s son, Ernie, and grandson Ben. The concert will feature musical direction by David Brunetti and an appearance of the Yip Harburg Foundation’s Rainbow Troupe.

Admission is free, with seating on a first come, first-served basis. Reservations will not be accepted. For additional information, call 212-343-9668 or email e@yipharburg.com.
