Cybill Shepherd to Star in Curvy Widow at SF’s Post Street

Award-winning actress Cybill Shepherd will star in Bobby Goldman’s solo play Curvy Widow, to run January 24-March 9 at San Francisco’s Post Street Theatre. The production, which will open officially on February 3, will be directed by Scott Schwartz.
The play follows the exploits of a 50-something widow and her adventures in Internet dating.

The production will feature set and costume design by David C. Woolard, lighting design by Michael Gilliam, sound design by Sten Severson and Mark Bennett, original music by Bennett, and projection design by Michael Clark. Schwartz’s many directorial credits include Golda’s Balcony, Jane Eyre, Bat Boy: The Musical, and The Foreigner.

Shepherd has appeared on stage in The Seven Year Itch, Vanities, and Picnic. She is best known for starring on the television series Cybill and Moonlighting. Her many other film and television credits include The Last Picture Show, Daisy Miller, Taxi Driver, The Yellow Rose, and Martha Stewart, Inc.
