Complete Follies Cast Recording Streaming for Free on NPR

PS Classics’ cast recording of the Broadway revival of Follies can now be heard for free on NPR through Monday< November 28, in anticipation of the album's previously reported release on November 29.

The two disc set will be the most expansive Follies recording on disc, including not only the songs, but dance music, dialogue lead-ins, scenes and speeches. The set will be accompanied by a 52-page full-color booklet, including essay, synopsis, full lyrics, production photos, and a brief note by producer Tommy Krasker, in which he describes his vision for the album.

Follies, currently playing at the Marriott Theatre, has been directed by Eric Schaffer and features choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by James Moore. The company stars Bernadette Peters (Sally Durant Plummer), Jan Maxwell (Phyllis Rogers Stone), Danny Burstein (Buddy Plummer), Ron Raines (Benjamin Stone), and Elaine Paige (Carlotta Campion).
