Boy George, Jane Lynch, Sharon Needles, Andrew Rannells Featured on “Out 100” Covers

OUT magazine has announced the four individuals who will grace separate covers its upcoming “Out 100” issue, which will hit newsstands on November 20.

The issue celebrates 100 gay and men who have made significant contributions to popular culture, politics, and style.

This year’s cover subjects are Glee star Jane Lynch (“The Entertainer”), pop superstar Boy George (“The Legend”), Tony Award nominee and The New Normal star Andrew Rannells (“The Ingenue”), and drag performer Sharon Needles (“The Stylemaker”).

Individuals named to the “Out 100” list include Tony Award winner and pop superstar Elton John and his partner David Furnish, Tony winning-playwright Terrence McNally, Tony-winning producer Jordan Roth, and Tony-winning director Walter Bobbie.

Other celebrities on the list include actors Michael Urie, Matthew Wilkas, Gideon Glick, and Simon Callow; playwright Jon Robin Baitz; musicians Amanda Palmer and Mika; dancer Michael Trusnovec; and Emmy-winning songwriter Bill Schemerhorn, who is also creative director of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
