F. Murray Abraham, Michael Stuhlbarg, Finn Wittrock Lead CSC’s Books on Stage Reading Series

F. Murray Abraham, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Finn Wittrock are among the actors who will take part in Classic Stage Company’s Books on Stage Reading Series, devoted to the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky, running Mondays in November at 7pm.

Abraham, Stuhlbarg, and Joanne Tucker will kick-off the series in Crime and Punishment on November 12. Anna Brenner directs.

Jaques Copeau and Croué’s adaptation of The Brothers Karamazov will follow on November 19, starring Wittrock, Glenn Fitzgerald, John Christopher Jones, Annika Boras, Joanne Tucker, James Patrick Nelson, Paul Lazar, and Anne Troup.

The series will conclude on November 26 with Robert Montgomery’s Subject to Fits, an adaptation of The Idiot, directed by Brian Kulick and starring Stuhlbarg.

All of the readings are currently sold out, but a waiting list forms at the Box Office each evening before the show for cancellations and standby tickets.
