Farah Alvin, Tituss Burgess, Tom Deckman, and more to Star in Two River’s A Wind in the Willows Christmas

Broadway veterans head to New Jersey to perform in a new family musical.

Two River Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey has announced full casting for the new musical A Wind in the Willows Christmas, playing December 8-30.

This new work, based on the children’s classic book, by Kenneth Grahame, is created by composer Mike Reid, lyricist Sarah Schlesinger, and bookwriter Mindi Dickstein. Amanda Dehnert will direct the show, which will feature musical direction by James Sampliner.

The cast will include stage favorites Farah Alvin (The Marvelous Wonderettes) as Mrs. Otter, Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid) as Mr. Toad, Tom Deckman (Monty Python’s Spamalot) as Mole, and John Jellison (Memphis) as Dr. Badger.

The show will also feature Nick Choksi as Rat, Kathy Connolly as Weasel/Rabbit, John Garry as Weasel/Rabbit, and Dana Steingold as Little Portly.

The design team will feature Philip Witcomb (set and costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design), and Zachary Williamson (sound design).
