Former Saturday Night Live Star Cheri Oteri to Join NEWSical in December

Former Saturday Night Live star Cheri Oteri, will join the Off-Broadway production of NEWSical the Musical at the Kirk Theatre December 3-30.

Written by Rick Crom and directed by Mark Waldrop the ever-changing NEWSical spoofs the top headlines of the day from the aftermath of the 2012 Presidential Election to Mayor Bloomberg’s sign language interpreter to Honey Boo Boo.

The cast currently includes Christine Pedi, Michael West, Tommy Walker, Susan Mosher, Emily McNamara, and Ryan Knowles, with Ed Goldschneider as musical director. As previously announced, Andrea McArdle will join the company from November 14 to December 2.
