Grammy Award Winner Diane Warren’s Songs Are Headed for Broadway

The musical catalogue of Grammy Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren has been optioned by Broadway producer Dede Harris Productions to create a brand new musical. No other details have been announced.

“It has always been a thrill for me to write for musical artists who began their careers on the New York stage and I’m so happy that my songs will be part of a new musical,” Warren said in a statement.

In addition to being a Grammy winner, Warren is the winner of the Golden Globe Award and a six-time Academy Award nominee. Her many hits include “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”, “If I Could Turn Back Time”, “How Do I Live”, “Un-break My Heart”, and “Because You Loved Me.”

Dede Harris Productions has produced the Broadway outings of One Man, Two Guvnors, Clybourne Park, War Horse, and the upcoming Hands on a Hardbody.
