The Irish Repertory Theatre will ring in the holiday season with It's A Wonderful Life: The 1946 Live Radio Play, beginning December 5 at the company's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre. Charlotte Moore directs the holiday classic, which is adapted by Anthony E. Palermo from Frank Capra's seminal film.
Set in a 1940s radio station, complete with a live sound FX artist (Zach Williamson), the show tells the story of George Bailey, a nice guy threatening suicide, who, with the help of his wing-less guardian angel Clarence learns how much he means to the people in the town.
