Judith Light and Sharr White Join Keegan Allen, James Ransone, and the Cast of Small Engine Repair on Opening Night

MCC’s ”Small Engine Repair” will run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre through December 15.

Family and friends of MCC celebrated the official off-Broadway opening of John Pollono's Small Engine Repair last night at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Jo Bonney directs a cast that features James Badge Dale (World War Z), James Ransone (HBO's The Wire), Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars), and Pollono himself. The play follows Frank, Swaino, and Packie — longtime friends who are now past their prime. They meet in Frank's repair shop after hours and come into contact with a preppy college jock named Chad, who makes the friends' old resentments bubble to the surface.

On hand to celebrate the evening with the off-Broadway cast were two-time Tony Award winner Judith Light (The Assembled Parties), The Snow Geese playwright Sharr White, Tony-winning director Walter Bobbie (Venus in Fur), and many more.
