The New Group continues its 2013-14 season with a world premiere production of Thomas Bradshaw's new play Intimacy, directed by Scott Elliott. The production is scheduled for a limited off-Broadway run at The Acorn Theater from January 14-March 8, with an official opening set for January 29.

Bradshaw's play Burning was produced at The New Group in 2011. His new boisterous comedy follows three families living in a well-manicured, multiracial American town where secrets and sexual desires suddenly transform their neighborly relations.

The cast features Drama Desk Award winner Laura Esterman (Marvin's Room); David Anzuelo (Knives and Other Sharp Objects); Ella Dershowitz (Phil Spector); Daniel Gerroll (Enchanted April); Keith Randolph Smith (Fences); and Austin Cauldwell and Déa Julien in their off-Broadway debuts.

The creative team includes set design by Derek McLane, costume design by Scott Elliott (with Kristine Koury as associate costume designer), lighting design by Russell H. Champa, sound design by Shane Rettig, and video design by Olivia Sebesky.
