Rupert Holmes to Host a Post-Gracie Discussion

Members of the audience for the Tuesday, December 10 performance of at the Helen Hayes Theatre will have the opportunity to interact with the show’s author, Rupert Holmes, in a post-performance discussion titled “East Side, West Side: From the Bowery to Broadway.”

Holmes, who penned the 1985 musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood and was the creative force behind the TV series Remember WENN, will talk about the show. Say Goodnight Gracie follows the rise of comedian George Burns (played by Frank Gorshin) from New York’s Lower East Side to the heights of showbiz stardom and his lifelong love affair and creative partnership with Gracie Allen.
