Molly Regan Replaces Kristen Johnston in London’s Love Song

Molly Regan has temporarily replaced Kristen Johnston as Joan in John Kolvenbach’s new play Love Song at London’s Ambassadors Theatre. Johnson recently suffered a serious medical problem that required surgery. No date has been set for the actress’ return. Regan previously played the role of Joan in the Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s production of the play.

The London production, which is directed by John Crowley, also stars Neve Campbell, Michael McKean, and Cillian Murphy. The play concerns Beane (Murphy), an oddball whose life seems to improve after his apartment is burglarized. Crowley and Kolvenbach previously collaborated on the play On an Average Day.
