Colin Quinn’s one-man show Long Story Short has extended its run at Broadway’s, Helen Hayes Theatre. The production, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, will now play through February 5.

In the show, Quinn comically examines over 2000 years of history, offering satirical takes on the attitudes, appetites and habits that toppled powerful empires.

Quinn is perhaps best known for his work on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, where he also served as a writer. Among his other writing credits are In Living Color and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. As a performer, he has been seen in such films as Married to the Mob, A Night at the Roxbury, and Grown-Ups, as well as the forthcoming Booted.
