Polk & Co., a public relations, media strategies, and social media firm founded in January 2013 by PR veteran Matt Polk, has announced that it will acquire the Broadway productions of Wicked, Rocky, If/Then, and The Velocity of Autumn, and the press agents representing those shows, from the soon-to-shutter Hartman Group.

Hartman staffers Tom D'Ambrosio, Wayne Wolfe, Frances White, and Colgan McNeil will join Polk and his current colleagues, Jessica Johnson, Michelle Bergmann, and Layne McNish, beginning January 6. The move will also bring D'Ambrosio and White's client Second Stage Theatre under the Polk & Co. awning, as well as the off-Broadway hit Buyer & Cellar (which had previously been repped by Richard Kornberg and Associates).

Polk & Co. currently represents the Broadway productions of Bronx Bombers and Of Mice and Men, as well as all of Roundabout Theatre Company's productions, Bedlam's Saint Joan and Hamlet, Birdland Jazz Club, By Experience, production and scenic designer Derek McLane, and actor John Stamos.
