Celebrate Christmas in New York City With Sirs McKellen and Patrick Stewart

Gogo and Didi do Christmas on Broadway.

Once upon a time, Sir Patrick Stewart promised us a holiday-themed continuation of his and Sir Ian McKellen's now-famous Twitter photo series, #GogoDidiDoNYC.

"[My wife] sent me a list saying we need to have a little shoot day," Stewart told TheaterMania. "Obviously, we had to do the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. She had an idea of [Ian and me] sitting on either knee of a Father Christmas in our bowler hats."

True to his word, Sir Patrick came through, and the latest posts by the Waiting for Godot/No Man's Land stars are thrilled to be celebrating the Yuletide season in Manhattan.

We wonder what they asked for. (We hope it was a 10-week extension of their run at the Cort Theatre!)
