Casting is set for Transport Group's upcoming concert of the musical A Man of No Importance. Starring Richard Thomas, the work will be presented on December 5 at Pershing Square Signature Center under the direction of Jack Cummings III.

Thomas will be joined by Tyne Daly (It Shoulda Been You), Jason Danieley (The Visit), Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Marc Kudisch (Hand to God), D.C. Anderson, Catherine Campbell, Tim Dolan, James Hindman, Joseph Kolinski, Heather MacRae, Jill Paice, Tally Sessions, and Cheryl Stern.

Featuring a book by Terrence McNally and music by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the duo behind Ragtime and this season’s Anastasia, A Man of No Importance premiered at Lincoln Center Theater in 2002. It follows the story of an Irish-Catholic bus driver struggling to accept a secret he’s kept hidden his whole life, and finding the power to do so through the words of Oscar Wilde.
