Andrew Lloyd Webber Takes Stephen Colbert on a Musical Trip Down Memory Lane

The composer of ”Phantom of the Opera”, ”Evita”, and ”School of Rock” stopped by ”The Late Show” with his piano in tow.

School of Rock, Andrew Lloyd Webber's first new Broadway show in a decade, opens at the Winter Garden Theatre on December 6. Last night, the Tony-winning composer stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote the show, which is based on the film of the same name.

Lloyd Webber's visit catered to musical-theater fans (of which Colbert clearly is one), as he reviewed some of his biggest career successes, from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to The Phantom of the Opera. As Lloyd Webber played some of his beloved tunes on the piano, Cobert couldn't help but sing along.
