Josh Groban and The Great Comet Cast Set to Perform at Ars Nova's Gala

Ars Nova will celebrate the Broadway production of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 at its annual gala, to be held Monday, December 5, at Capitale.

Nova Ball Remix will toast the show, as well as the Broadway debuts of its creators, Dave Malloy and Rachel Chavkin. The Great Comet originated at the venue in 2012 before transferring to a specially built tent in the Meatpacking District, American Repertory Theater in Boston, and now the Imperial Theatre. The evening features performances by Josh Groban, Denée Benton, and the Broadway cast of The Great Comet, as well as Heather Christian, Joe Iconis & Family, Anaïs Mitchell, Sky-Pony, and more.

The cochairs of the Nova Ball Remix host committee are Paula Marie Black, Dana Kirchman, and Alisa Lessing. The host committee includes Nancy and Jeff Bergman, Paula Marie Black, Nicole Brodeur and Alex Payne, Lizzy and David Florence, Megan Kingery, Dana Kirchman and Mark Wiedman, Alisa and Scott Lessing, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Gerry Ohrstrom, Eva Price/Maximum Entertainment, Royal Bank of Canada, Seeso, Jenna Segal, Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs and Jill Furman, Evan and Jill Shapiro, Stephen and Saskia Siderow, Stephen Sondheim, Jenny and Jon Steingart, Darren Sussman and Roman Gambourg, David Syner, and Zena Wiener.
