Artists for World Peace, a nonprofit organization of artists and activists, will host its seventh annual Broadway fundraiser on Sunday, February 18, at The Cutting Room.

Broadway performers will sing, dance, and tell stories to support Artists for World Peace's Native Eyes Project, which brings free eye care to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and the Eastern Pequot Nation in Connecticut. Since 2014, Artists for World Peace has provided free eye care to thousands of some of the poorest villagers living in Eastern Tanzania and hosted a clinic in their hometown of Middletown, Connecticut.

The evening’s performers will include several cast members from The Band's Visit, including Katrina Lenk, George Abud, Etai Benson, Rachel Prather, Jonathan Raviv, Sharone Sayegh, and Ari'el Stachel, as well as Stephen Carrasco (Fiddler on the Roof), Becky Gulsvig (School of Rock), Monica Kapoor (Mamma Mia!), Alison Luff (Escape to Margaritaville), Mike Millan (Escape to Margaritaville), Paul Alexander Nolan (Escape to Margaritaville), Vishal Vaidya (Groundhog Day), and Rema Webb (Escape to Margaritaville).

The show is produced by Sharone Sayegh and Wendy Black-Nasta, founder and executive director of Artists for World Peace. The evening will be hosted by Robbie and Paul Rescigno of The Rescignos, and will feature music direction by Brandon Sturiale.
