Laura Benanti Will Be Joined by Broadway Vets for New York Spring Spectacular

Broadway veterans Lenny Wolpe (Bullets Over Broadway) and Jared Grimes (Holler If Ya Hear Me) have been announced to join the cast of New York Spring Spectacular. The production will costar the Rockettes and run at Radio City Music Hall from March 12-May 3.
Wolpe will play the central role of Bernie, a seasoned New York City tour guide that is at risk of losing his job, and Grimes will play Marshall, vice president of Jenna World and right-hand man to Jenna, played by the previously announced Laura Benanti. Jenna is a billionaire and CEO of her own company who just purchased an NYC tour company that she plans to take virtual.
The cast is also set to inlcude Derek Hough as Jack, Bella Thorne as the voice of the Alice in Wonderland Statue, Whoopi Goldberg voicing the Statue of Liberty, with celebrity cameos by Carmelo Anthony, Donald Trump, Martha Stewart, Henrik Lundqvist, and more.
New York Spring Spectacular features state-of-the-art technology, one-of-a-kind puppetry, a book by Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews), and direction and choreography for the Rockettes by Tony winner Warren Carlyle (After Midnight). MSG Entertainment produces with Weinstein Live Entertainment. Tony winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland) and her husband, producer Randy Weiner, serve as cocreative directors. Mia Michaels will choreograph the show's opening number.
