Merrily We Roll Along Documentary to Be Made Available for Home Viewing

”Best Worst Thing That Ever Could Have Happened” will have a release on iTunes.

The acclaimed documentary Best Worst Thing That Ever Could Have Happened will be available for purchase and rental on iTunes Movies beginning March 3, 2017. Preorders for the film are currently available.

The film offers a behind-the-scenes look into the then and now of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's beloved coming-of-age musical Merrily We Roll Along, which closed on Broadway after just 16 performances in 1981. The film features never-before-seen footage and interviews with Sondheim, original director Harold Prince, and many others.

Best Worst Thing, a production of Atlas Media Corp. in association with Allright Productions, is directed by original Merrily We Roll Along cast member and acclaimed director Lonny Price and produced by Bruce David Klein with Lonny Price, Kitt Lavoie, and Ted Schillinger. Scott Rudin and Eli Bush serve as executive producers.
