Brandon Victor Dixon, Steven Pasquale, and Hamilton's Phillipa Soo Celebrate The Wild Party

It was a wild ”Wild Party” party at Kitty’s Canteen.

Following the July 18 final performance of Leigh Silverman's Encores! Off-Center revival of Andrew Lippa's musical The Wild Party, the cast took to Manhattan's Kitty's Canteen for their own party. Cast members Brandon Victor Dixon, Steven Pasquale, and Miriam Shor gathered with their director as well as fellow Broadway favorites like Hamilton's Phillipa Soo to celebrate.

Lippa's The Wild Party, adapted from the Jazz Age narrative poem by Joseph Moncure March, is the story of one tragic, decadent night in a Manhattan apartment shared by Queenie and her menacing lover Burrs. The couple decides to throw the party to end all parties, where Queenie meets a handsome stranger who wants to lure her away. The show opened at Manhattan Theatre Club on February 24, 2000, and played 54 performances, with Pasquale making his New York stage debut in the ensemble. Choreography for the Encores! revival was by Sonya Tayeh with Chris Fenwick serving as music director.
