James Monroe Iglehart, the Tony-winning Genie of Disney's Aladdin on Broadway, will appear as guest-cohost on ABC's The View for the second time today (11am EDT). Iglehart previously cohosted the show on July 25, 2014. Today also marks Aladdin's one-year anniversary on Broadway.

In addition to his previous hosting gig, Iglehart also appeared on The View on December 9, when he performed live along with Adam Jacobs, Aladdin's leading man.

Last year, Iglehart was honored with Tony and Drama Desk Awards for his portrayal of Genie in Aladdin, which is currently playing at the New Amsterdam Theatre. He has also appeared on Broadway in Memphis and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Iglehart has made appearances on television series such as Gotham and Smash.

Aladdin, which also stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed, and Jonathan Freeman, features songs made popular by the hit 1992 animated film, with additional songs by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, Tim Rice, and Chad Beguelin, who also penned the show's book. The production is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw.
