In the role of Velma Kelly, Hughes takes over for longtime Chicago star Amra-Faye Wright, who plays her final performance Sunday, February 1.

The Fred Ebb, John Kander, and Bob Fosse musical is directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking (in the style of Fosse). This revival at the Ambassador Theatre recently became the second-longest-running show in Broadway history, and it is currently the longest-running American musical.

Both Chicago and Pippin are produced by Barry and Fran Weissler.
