Cast members from Broadway's Newsies and both the original and revival versions of Spring Awakening will join Charlie Rosen’s Broadway Big Band for the group's upcoming 54 Below show on August 22 at 9:30pm.

The evening reimagines classic showtunes for a full-size jazz orchestra of 17 musicians, led by musical director, bandleader, and orchestrator Rosen. The cast list for the upcoming concert includes Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard and Gerard Canonico (Broadway's original Spring Awakening), Margo Seibert (Rocky), Alex Wyse (the new revival of Spring Awakening), Adam Kaplan (Newsies), Samantha Massell ( The Hunchback of Notre Dame), and Kacie Sheik (Hair).

Rosen is a 2015 Drama Desk Award nominee for his contributions to the orchestrations of Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas score, and could recently be heard in the orchestra of Kander and Ebb's The Visit. He has previously worked on the Broadway productions of Cyrano de Bergerac, One Man, Two Guvnors, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and 13.
