Gingold Theatrical Group announced the casting for its upcoming concert presentation of George Bernard Shaw's comedy Captain Brassbound's Conversion, to be performed at Symphony Space on October 23 as part of the 12th season of Project Shaw, which is dedicated to presenting performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays (including full-length works, one-acts, and sketches).

The cast will feature Rebecca Luker, Max von Essen, Tony Sheldon, George Dvorsky, Mark Shanahan, Jeffrey Omura, Dan Domingues, Doug Plaut, Daniel Marconi, Thom Sesma, Evan Zes, Aaron Lee Battle, and Frank C. DiLella. David Staller will direct the production.

Shaw's play is described as follows: "Lady Cicely arrives in Morocco with Sir Howard, the infamous London judge. We soon discover that their guide, Captain Brassbound, is none other than a legendary ruthless pirate who has been waiting for years to extract revenge on this very judge! Surrounded by a spectacular array of wonderfully theatrical characters, Lady Cicely takes on the pirates, an Arab army, and the entire U.S. fleet while finding time for a bit of romance!"
