Disenchanted!, a new musical comedy written by Dennis T. Giacino, will begin an open-ended engagement at Westside Theatre on March 16. Directed by Fiely A. Matias and featuring musical staging by Matt West, the production recently enjoyed a nine-week off-Broadway run at the Theatre at St. Clement's, where it closed on January 25.

Described as a "hilariously subversive, not-for-the-kiddies musical," Disenchanted! takes a look at storybook princesses behaving badly. The Theatre at St. Clement's production featured Michelle Knight as Snow White, Becky Gulsvig as Cinderella, Jen Bechter as Sleeping Beauty, Lulu Picart as Hua Mulan/Pocahontas/Princess Badroulbador, Alison Burns as Belle/The Little Mermaid/Rapunzel, and Soara-Joye Ross as the Princess Who Kissed the Frog.

Disenchanted! features scenic design by Gentry Akens, costume design by Vanessa Leuck, lighting design by Graham Kindred, sound design by Keith Caggiano, musical arrangements by Robert Meffe, and additional arrangements and musical direction by Michael Raabe.
