Original The Secret Garden Tony winner Daisy Eagan will return to the musical as part of Manhattan Concert Productions' two-night-only concert staging on February 21 and 22, 2016 at David Geffen Hall.

Eagan, who originated the role of Mary Lennox in Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon's musical, will take on the role of Martha. Original cast member Barbara Rosenblat will return to the role of Mrs. Medlock. Fun Home Tony nominee Sydney Lucas is set to take on the role of Mary Lennox in this staging. Stafford Arima directs.

Additional casting for the production includes Ramin Karimloo (Archibald Craven), Sierra Boggess (Lily), Cheyenne Jackson (Dr. Neville Craven), Ben Platt (Dickon), and Jere Shea (Ben). (Karimloo was part of TheaterMania's Dream Cast for the production, revealed several months ago.)

The Secret Garden, which opened at the St. James Theatre in April 1991 and played 709 performances before closing in January 1993, is based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The score is written by Simon, and Norman pens the book. The original Broadway cast featured Mandy Patinkin, Alison Fraser, Rebecca Luker, Robert Westenberg, John Cameron Mitchell, and Daisy Eagan, who won a Tony Award for her performance as Mary Lennox.

In the past, Manhattan Concert Productions has presented concerts of Ragtime, Titanic, and Parade, with professional Broadway casts, full choirs, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
