The film adaptation of August Wilson's Fences hits theaters countrywide today, December 25.

Denzel Washington and Viola Davis reprise their 2010 Tony-winning performances as Troy Maxson and Rose, alongside their fellow Broadway costars Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Hornsby, and Mykelti Williamson. The film, featuring a screenplay penned by Wilson before his death in 2005, is produced by Todd Black, Scott Rudin, and Washington, who also directs.
