The new musical plays the Public Theater beginning September 30.

A cast of Broadway veterans that includes Adam Chanler-Berat, Kyle Beltran, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and André De Shields is currently in rehearsals for The Public Theater's upcoming musical, The Fortress of Solitude. With a book by Itamar Moses and music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, the show is inspired by Jonathan Lethem's novel of the same title and directed by Daniel Aukin. Performances begin September 30, with an official press opening on October 22.
