Broadway legend Chita Rivera has announced several special guests who will join her at Carnegie Hall on November 7 for her concert Chita: Nowadays. Presented by Daniel Nardicio, the event marks the first time the two-time Tony-winning actress will headline the famous New York venue.

As previously announced, Rivera will be joined by Tony winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret) and two-time Tony nominee Andy Karl (On the Twentieth Century). Also slated to perform are Hamilton stars Javier Muñoz and Brandon Victor Dixon, as well as the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus.

Directed by Graciela Daniele with music director Michael Croiter leading a 15-piece band, the evening will feature Rivera's signature favorites, new selections, and special collaborations with her guests — plus a very unique version of the West Side Story classic "America" (the number she performed as Anita in the original Broadway production).

Rivera has won two Tony Awards for Best Leading Actress in a Musical and received eight additional Tony nominations. She recently starred in Broadway's The Visit, the final John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally collaboration. Highlights from her career also include starring roles in Bye Bye Birdie, The Rink, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Rivera was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2009 and received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2002.
