Tony Award winner Daveed Diggs, who recently departed the Broadway production of Hamilton, will join the cast of the acclaimed ABC sitcom Black-ish during its upcoming third season.

Variety reports that Diggs, who ended his run as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson on July 15, will take on the role of Johan, the brother of Tracee Ellis Ross' character, Rainbow Johnson. Black-ish also stars Anthony Anderson.

Diggs' upcoming projects also include the film Wonder, opposite Jacob Tremblay and Julia Roberts, and the HBO sports mockumentary Tour de Pharmacy, developed by Andy Samberg and Murray Miller.
