Honeymoon in Vegas, the new Jason Robert Brown/Andrew Bergman musical, celebrated its opening night on January 15 at the Nederlander Theatre. The production is directed by Gary Griffin and comes to New York after a 2013 engagement at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse.

Rob McClure, Brynn O'Malley, and Tony Danza lead the cast of the show, which is inspired by the film of the same title. It tells the story of the commitment-phobic Jack Singer (McClure), who travels to Sin City to elope with his longtime girlfriend Betsy (O'Malley) and escape the curse of his long-dead mother. Complications ensue with the arrival of Tommy Korman (Danza), a widowed gambler who takes a shine to Betsy on account of her resemblance to his late wife.

Guests at the opening-night festivities included Danza's pals from the television series Taxi, including Christopher Lloyd, Danny DeVito, and Marilu Henner; Danza's Who's the Boss? costars Judith Light and Danny Pintauro; Regis and Joy Philbin, Bette Midler, and many more.
