Jay Armstrong Johnson, Vanessa Williams, and More Join Harold Prince Tribute

Additional performers who will help honor legendary director Harold Prince at Symphony Space's annual gala have been announced. The event will be on May 18 at Capitale.

Newly announced talent includes Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), Hugh Panaro (The Phantom of the Opera), Graham Rowat (Mamma Mia!), Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town), and Vanessa Williams (Sondheim on Sondheim).

They join Chita Rivera (The Visit), Jeremy Jordan (Newsies), Laura Osnes (Cinderella), Sierra Boggess (It Shoulda Been You), Santino Fontana (Act One), Ramin Karimloo (Les Misérables), Norm Lewis (The Phantom of the Opera), and Rebecca Luker (Cinderella). Danny Burstein (Cabaret) hosts.

The event will honor 21-time Tony Award-winning producer and director Prince with a star-studded musical tribute featuring songs from musicals such as Cabaret, Company, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Follies, The Pajama Game, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, and West Side Story.

A multidisciplinary performing arts center, Symphony Space's mission is "to offer artistic leadership that promotes innovation, excellence, engagement, and accessibility to artists and audiences alike."
