Nathan Lane Honored by Manhattan Theatre Club, With Matthew Broderick and More

Two-time Tony winner Nathan Lane was honored at Manhattan Theatre Club's annual gala, held November 21 at 583 Park Avenue.

Throughout his career, Lane has starred in six MTC productions including Claptrap, The Lisbon Traviata, Bad Habits, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, Love! Valour! Compassion!, and Mizlansky/Zilinsky or "Schmucks," and served on MTC's board of directors from 1994 to 2007.

Lane currently stars in the new Broadway revival of The Front Page. He appeared in the 2014 revival of Terrence McNally's It's Only a Play, followed by an acclaimed run as Hickey in The Iceman Cometh at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. His Broadway credits also include The Nance (Tony nomination), The Addams Family, The Producers (Tony Award), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Tony Award), and Guys and Dolls (Tony nomination), among others. Lane stars in The Front Page alongside John Slattery and John Goodman. He will appear in the National Theatre revival of Angels in America in London beginning in April 2017.
