New York City Center has announced the lineup for the Lobby Project, a series of free pre-show events presented in conjunction with the third season of New York City Center’s Encores! Off-Center series. The events will be held between June 24 and July 18 at City Center's Grand Tier lobby one hour before curtain. Each Lobby Project event will be 45 minutes long.

Led by artistic director Jeanine Tesori, this season's Off-Center series includes William Finn and James Lapine’s A New Brain (June 24-27), Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s Little Shop of Horrors (July 1-2), and Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (July 15-18).

The Lobby Project events will include a conversation with Tony nominee and A New Brain star Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening, Glee), who will discuss his own personal history with the musical on June 27.

So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Sonia Tayeh will come to the theater on July 12 to discuss how she developed the choreography for The Wild Party and lead audience members through some of the steps. Andrew Lippa and Jeanine Tesori will also engage in a discussion about the production on July 18, with performances by Lippa of some of the show's cut material.
