Amy Spanger, who recently took the stage of 54 Below with her cabaret This Must Be the Place, will play Birdland on March 16 at 7pm.

In collaboration with her partners — musical whiz kid Kris Kukul and her husband, director Brian Shepard (Something Rotten!) — Amy is proud to present Amy Spanger — Live at Birdland! with a special guest, On the Town's Elizabeth Stanley.

The show, billed as an evening of pop, music theater, rock, country, R&B, and candid storytelling, will feature some of the songs that put Spanger on the map, including "Don’t Stop Believing" from Rock of Ages, "Always True to You Darling in My Fashion" from Kiss Me, Kate, and "Come to Your Senses" from tick, tick… BOOM! Spanger will also share some glamorous and not-as-glamorous tales as she reflects on the places she’s lived and people she’s lived with along the Great White Way.

Spanger has appeared onstage in tick, tick… BOOM!, The Wedding Singer, Urinetown, Elf, Rock of Ages, and, most recently, Chicago. She has guest-starred on TV's Royal Pains, Ed, Law and Order: SVU, Six Feet Under, and Bored to Death. She also played Sally in Showtime's original movie musical Reefer Madness. She just wrapped filming the indie thriller No Beast So Fierce opposite Dylan Baker.
