American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson and Tony-winning theater producer Fran Weissler will be honored by MCC Theater at the organization's annual Miscast gala, to be held March 30 at The Hammerstein Ballroom.

Paulson appeared in MCC Theater's productions of Still Life and Colder Than Here, and has also starred onstage in Talley's Folly and The Glass Menagerie, among other shows. Her screen credits include the film 12 Years a Slave and the television series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, along with all four seasons of American Horror Story.

Among the shows Weissler has produced on Broadway are the long-running revival of Chicago and the new revival of Pippin.

MCC Theater co-artistic director Bernard Telsey said in a statement, "Honoring Sarah and Fran together is going to double our fun at Miscast. They’re both incredibly talented, passionate and very funny women. Plus, they don’t play it safe, which is something we value at MCC. We're eager to pay tribute to that quality in both of them next March."
